Komodo Straw Terrain is a naturally soft substrate, which is why it is suitable for dry or humid environments. The substrate is ideal for use with tortoises along with a wide range of snakes and lizards. Our Substrate is made from 100% natural straw that is eco-friendly, sustainable and bio-degradable. The Substrate is virtually dust free and will break down to fine particles if they become wet. If the Straw Terrain is accidentally swallowed due to them dampening this will reduce the risk of impaction. The Straw Terrain pellets are ultra absorbent and are easily isolated and removed, reducing the release of ammonia and keeping the enclosure fresh and odour free.
